Abstract

Climate change becomes major concern for many countries in the world. The temperature increase target to prevent climate change is 1.5-2oC since the industrial revolution in 1760. Currently, the average increase in Earth's temperature has reached 1.1oC from the reference year. This means that it is increasingly important for each country to adapt and mitigate climate change in its economic development. Indonesia as the G20 presidency in 2022 can be used to agree on joint efforts among G20 countries in green economic development and decarbonization/zero emission development which has been targeted by the world in 2050 or 2060. This is in line with the theme carried out in the G20 2022 that are global one health, digital transformation, and energy transition. Low-carbon development through carbon trading based on environmentally friendly agricultural practices is expected to be a comparative advantage that can be used.
