A THOUGHT: TRAINING AND EDUCATION INSTITUTION IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT AS A CORPORATE UNIVERSITY

Abstract

Corporate University is currently a problem in the world of training and education and human resource development. Educational and training institutions in order to be able to provide the right program must know what is needed, for what standards, the competency standards of their positions, and the level of competency needed. In - Law Number 5 Year 2014 concerning the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as well as the implementing regulations the concept of civil servant competence was overhauled on a large scale. Government-owned education and training institutions are no longer monotonous with the theme of training, but must adjust to the competencies needed by each ASN individual. The Education and Training Institute as an HR Development management entity is an integral part of the talent management process that is equipped with the organization of strategic human resource management functions, the development of strategic learning and operational management of HR as well as the optimization of the education and technical training functions, so education and training are related to the pattern of the Corporate University.
